The agency is certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health as a provider of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment services and accredited through CARF as a provider of Integrated Alcohol and Other Drug and Mental Health services at all of its locations.

An Associate's degree or 2 years of experience in Human Resources or Business Administration or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society Human Resources Management (SHRM) certification is preferred.  An ability to communicate effectively with employees, candidates for employment and the general public.  Thorough knowledge of personnel, employment, and labor statutes and regulations, both at the federal and state level.  Employees are required to maintain the certifications and/or licenses possessed when hired and those gained while an employee of this Agency.

Must pass background check provided for the agency by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Family Care Safety Registry which includes the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health and Department of Health and Senior Services.  Must not be on any "do not hire" list with the Department of Mental Health or the Missouri Division of Family Services. 


Primary function is to assist in the coordination of Human Resources policies and programs such to ensure that the records and paperwork organization is continuously in full compliance with Human Resources processes and proceduresGeneralist must be reliable and highly organized.

An ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.  An ability to professionally assist the Human Resources Manager in conducting personal interviews and to offer suggestions to the Human Resources Manager for personnel selection. 

An ability to maintain and organize the paperwork and documents pertinent to employees such as, applications, tax forms, benefits paperwork and personal data.

Ensure document updates are completed in an efficient manner and storage is maintained based on procedures.

Ability to record and maintain confidentially of data contained in the employee records

Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function.

Assists the Human Resources Manager with employees regarding their benefits and compensation options.  Ability to assist employees with questions regarding their benefits or their benefit paperwork.

Assists the Human Resources Manager in organizing and completing duties related to the hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, providing new hire paperwork and in some cases even performing training to new employees.

Assists the Human Resources Manager in tracking the completion of employee evaluations.  Assists the Human Resources Manager by providing supervisors with timely monthly notice that reports and performance appraisals are coming due.

Assists the Human Resources Manager in verifying and documenting completion of orientation procedures for all new employees according to the agency policies and procedures and ensures a supervised training of those new employees.

Provides employee change of status information to supervisory staff.

Assists the Human Resources Manager with employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, and Intranet use.

Staff must demonstrate excellence in overall work performance; promote positive morale through a congenial, supportive attitude and by providing service to others; put forth an effort to improve self as well as to develop and recognize others; exhibit initiative, innovation and creativity resulting in improved operating efficiency of their work focus or the agency as a whole; enhance the image of the their department and the agency.
