Regional Director 



Preference is given to graduates of an accredited college or university and three years of experience in a general administrative staff capacity analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of problems of organization, systems and procedures, program, facilities planning, budget or personnel.  Must exercise a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance and custodial services and an understanding of the principles of supervision, organization, financial, personnel and resource management.  Must possess excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills. 


This management position ensures that agency policies and procedures are promulgated to all staff, monitored and educative corrective intervention with staff implemented so that they are explicitly followed.  It is essential this management role have a clear understanding of the inter-relationship between adherence to comprehensive agency policies and procedures and with the compliance with regulating and governing bodies' code of regulations/standards, for example, the Department of Mental Health, CARF, Federal program, and other funding agencies and similar entities, as those standards are incorporated into the agency's policies and procedures.  Staff is to be trained and educated that they are to follow the agency's policies and procedures due to the incorporation of all relevant regulations and standards are inherently contained in them.

Has immediate responsibility for the overall operation and maintenance of assigned agency facilities, staff, and equipment.  Coordinates and administers an adequate plan for the control of operations in accordance with budgetary guidelines.  The Director plans, organizes, and directs the staff providing services to clients in the Crisis/Stabilization, Community Based and Supported Recovery settings.  As directed, the Director is responsible for the development and implementation of changes in organization, staffing, and work processing, in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency to reduce administrative costs of the Agency.

Staff must demonstrate excellence in overall work performance promote positive morale through a congenial, supportive attitude and by providing service to others, put forth an effort to improve self as well as to develop and recognize others, exhibit initiative, innovation and creativity resulting in improved operating efficiency of their work focus or the agency as a whole; enhance the image of the their department and the agency. 

This position serves as the Safety Officer for all assigned facility locations.  As Safety Officer, the position is responsible for implementing health and safety plans and procedures.  It is this position's duty to direct policies to provide a safe and healthy atmosphere for all staff and persons served and to comply with all federal, state and local regulations.  This position oversees the Safety Committee for all assigned locations and maintains communication with administration in matters of safety requiring action.

Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function.
