The agency is certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health as a provider of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment services and accredited through CARF as a provider of Integrated Alcohol and Other Drug and Mental Health services at all of its locations.

Facilitates onboarding and orientation of new Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Reviews nursing schedules for time management improvements to achieve required productivity.
Familiarizes new RNs and LPNs with agency educational training procedures.
Monitors agency medication room functions and oversees adherence to agency procedures.
Reviews client medications and Physician Medication Orders (PMO) documentation for accuracy.
Travels to all office locations as needed to meet staffing needs.
Demonstrates a culture in which the nurse interacts collaboratively with the care team
Over sees the ordering and distribution of Vivitrol shots.
By providing Extended Day Treatment services, evaluates clinical standards and evaluates the need for specific education and training for nursing staff.
Makes recommendations to the Chief Nursing and Risk Management Officer on updates to agency nursing procedures.
Acts as a consultant to the multidisciplinary team on clinical nursing care.
Reviews clinical documentation by nursing staff and provides guidance to nursing staff to assist with quality improvement of documentation in the electronic health record.
Assists in implementing risk reduction strategies in clinical areas.
Works collaboratively with the Regional Directors and Assistant Directors to investigate and resolve critical incidents.
Conducts trainings as scheduled by the education department throughout all locations.


Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Missouri. Bachelor's degree, B.S.N. preferred from a four-year college or university; two years related experience. CPR and First Aid Certifications are required. Employees are required to maintain the certifications and/or licenses possessed when hired and those gained while an employee of this agency. Any lapsed certification or license may be grounds for discipline, removal from a position, or termination of employment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general nursing and treatment periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Must pass background check provided for the agency by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Family Care Safety Registry which includes the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health and Department of Health and Senior Services. Must not be on any "do not hire" list with the Department of Mental Health or the Missouri Division of Family Services.
