Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health (SEMOBH) is currently hiring Community Reentry Technicians for its Federal Bureau of Prisons-contracted Residential Reentry Center Program located at its Aquinas facility in Farmington. Must be 21 years of age. All positions require a high school diploma or GED. A Missouri Class E driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Agency-provided CPR/First Aid training required. Must be able to obtain a Federal Bureau of Prisons background-clearance.

Position Purpose:

Community Re-entry Technicians assist in creating a structured and safe environment for community re-entry residents through their development and growth as individuals rehabilitation into society.

Technician model desired behaviors by supporting, encouraging, and instruction community re-entry residents.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs routine shift duties as assigned and scheduled.
  • Confirms and documents the location and status of clientele.
  • Observes, monitors, records, and reports on the day-to-day activities of clientele.
  • Encourages a safe and sanitary housing environment for all clientele.
  • Ensures completion of drug screening and Breath Alcohol Testing by clientele.

Must pass background check provided for the agency by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Family Care Safety registry which includes Missouri State Highway Patrol, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health and Department of Health and Senior Services.
