Electronic Monitoring Specialist
Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health is designated as a Residential Reentry Services provider contracted through the federal Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Residential Reentry Services residents are in the custody of the BOP, United States Attorney General, or under the supervision of the United States Probation Office (USPO). Residential Reentry Services residents are monitored and not considered voluntary residents in our Program.
Qualifications:
The candidate for the residential Reentry Center (RRC) Electronic Monitoring Specialist position is preferred to have at least an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or a closely related field or two years of experience in law enforcement or community or institution based corrections.
Proficiency in all Microsoft programs is a must combined with familiarity and experience with internet-based software. Strong Data skills are required.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and process the ability to accurately record and communicate diverse information. Excellent time management skills required. Must have a Class E driver's license. Must respect and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of client treatment. Must pass background check provided for the agency by the U.S. Department of Justice and Family Care safety Registry which includes the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health and Department of Health and Senior Services. Must not be on any "do not hire" list with the Department of Mental Health or the Missouri Division of Family Services.
Employees are required to maintain the certifications and/or licenses possessed when hired and those while gained while an employee of this Agency. Any lapsed certification or license may be grounds for discipline, removal from position or termination of employment.
