Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health is a community based, healthcare provider of substance abuse, mental health, and co-occurring disorder treatment services. The agency is certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health as a provider of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment services and accredited through CARF as a provider of Integrated Alcohol and Other Drug and Mental Health services at all of its locations.

Qualifications:

Licensed professional in counseling, social work, or psychology is preferred.  A minimum of a Master's Degree in counseling, social work, social sciences or closely related field will be considered.  Employees are required to maintain the certifications and/or licenses possessed when hired and those gained while an employee of this Agency.  Any lapsed certification or license may be grounds for discipline, removal from a position, or termination of employment.

Must be knowledgeable in Evidence Based Practices for providing co-occurring and mental health services and display an understanding of providing community-based services through case management.  Three years of experience providing clinical or case management services or a combination thereof is preferred.

Must pass background check provided for the agency by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Family Care Safety Registry which includes the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health and Department of Health and Senior Services.  Must not be on any "do not hire" list with the Department of Mental Health or the Missouri Division of Family Services.

Essential Functions:

The Clinical Supervisor shall have overall responsibility for maintaining the agency's standard for all clinical programs.  This position involves the coordination and management of resources for meeting the agency's policies and procedures, and standards and objectives for services or service programs.  Requires travel between various sites and flexibility in working hours and environment.  Insures that the highest level of quality services are provided to the consumer by caring, qualified staff who assist the Clinical Supervisor in making certain that these services are provided in an environment that is safe, supportive, and therapeutic.  The Clinical Supervisor insures cooperation and coordination between the Clinical and the Care Coordination Departments to insure clients receive maximum benefit from services
